Dr. Boram Lim is an Assistant Professor and serves as the Council on Accreditation of Strength and Conditioning Education (CASCE) Undergraduate Program Director at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. His expertise spans kinesiology, with a focus on biomechanics, exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, as well as exercise testing and prescription. He earned a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from California Polytechnic State University, Humboldt. Dr. Lim is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and a certified Exercise Physiologist (EP) through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Additionally, he holds certifications as a Lifeguard, Master Scuba Diver, and in first aid/CPR and DXA technology. His research investigates the effects of acute and chronic interventions on human performance utilizing wearable technology and augmented reality in order to enhance athletic performance while preventing sport-related injuries.
