Philip Agostinelli, PhD, CSCS, EP is a senior scientist at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute’s satellite laboratory at IMG academy in Bradenton FL. His current research interests include thermoregulation, hydration, human performance and recovery for sport and occupational athletes. Philip completed in Bachelors and Masters in Exercise Science at Slippery Rock University and the University of Pittsburgh, respectively. Afterwhich, Philip worked as a research program manager at the Neuromuscular Research Laboratory before completing his PhD at Auburn University. Throughout these years Philip also held multiple roles as a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer.
