Shawn M. Coleman is a passionate and driven Exercise Science student at Kennesaw State University, expected to graduate in December 2025. Inspired by his lifelong love of skateboarding and human movement, Shawn was drawn to the field of physical therapy and pursued a degree in Exercise Science to deepen his understanding of performance and rehabilitation.
During his undergraduate studies, Shawn cultivated a strong interest in research, working under the mentorship of Dr. Gerald T. Mangine. His contributions to a thesis project on High-Intensity Functional Training (HIFT) performance, led by graduate student James, reflect his commitment to advancing evidence-based practices in the field.
Upon graduation, Shawn plans to continue his academic journey at the graduate level at Kennesaw State University, with a focus on research and strength and conditioning. He is dedicated to merging practical experience with academic knowledge to help individuals achieve peak physical performance and recover from injury.
