Jazmin Contreras, CSCS - University of Pittsburgh, Sports Science Fellow
Jazmin is a former division one athlete with a passion for merging data science and sports performance. Most recently a Sports Science Fellow with the University of Pittsburgh Softball program, Jazmin's main responsibilities included building out a reporting dashboard, weight room and on field data collection. Prior to her time in Pittsburgh, Jazmin spent time as a Sports Performance Intern at Stanford University. While at Stanford, Jazmin assisted with nine teams, ensuring a smooth transition between groups. Her research interests include: efficient integration of data science principles into sports science, the relationship between countermovement jump and force expression in combat athletes.
