Amber Schmitz is a first-year PhD student in the Human Movement Sciences program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After completing her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at The Ohio State University, she obtained her master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at UNC-CH. Working under the direction of Dr. Eric Ryan, her research interests include neuromuscular function, fatigue, and how they impact occupational safety and health.
