Austin Parks received a BS in Athletic Training and an MS in Human Performance from Georgia College. While completing his Master's degree, he was a strength and conditioning graduate assistant working with multiple athletic teams. After graduating in 2017, he took a job in the private sector doing sports performance training with athletes from middle school to professional. He began teaching at Georgia State University in the department of Kinesiology and Health part-time in 2018. His love for teaching has led him to pursue his Ph.D. in Exercise Physiology at Georgia State. Austin is now an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Georgia College & State University.
