Fatema Dhondia is a graduate student in Sports Engineering at the University of Alabama, where she also earned her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She currently serves as a strength and conditioning and sports science intern with Alabama Athletics, supporting teams such as softball, women’s golf, volleyball, spirit programs, and football. Fatema is currently interning with Garmin International, where she contributes to projects focused on performance technology. Her engineering background provides a unique lens for interpreting athlete data and optimizing performance strategies. She has experience with biomechanical tools, including Vald, 1080 Motion, Vicon, Catapult, and EliteForm. She is proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and R. She is currently pursuing her CSCS and has academic and professional interests focused on the implementation of performance-based data into strength and conditioning.
