Sam Norwood, MS, CSCS. Jayhawk Athletic Performance Laboratory, University of Kansas, Lawrence Kansas​:
Originally from Montgomery County, Maryland, Sam earned his bachelor's degree in exercise science from Salisbury University before earning his master's degree in kinesiology from Florida International University.
As a previous collegiate athlete, Sam has extensive experience with football but has also worked with other sports including wrestling, volleyball, soccer, and baseball.
Sam's research interests include team sport athletic performance, high speed distance, maximal velocities, youth athletic performance, and strength and power. He is also assisting with the KU Football strength and conditioning.
