Savannah Piziak recently graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a minor in Psychology. Over the past year, she has conducted research utilizing Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) devices to guide inter-set recovery durations in high-load barbell bench press exercises. During her time at CCU, she was a member of the dance team and received both the Exercise and Sport Science Student of the Year award and the Conway Medical Center (CMC) College of Health and Human Performance Student of the Year award. Savannah will attend the Medical University of South Carolina this fall to obtain a doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
