Dr. Samantha (Sam) Dardaman is currently a clinical assistant professor at the University of North Texas, Denton. She serves as the Program Director of the UNT undergraduate Strength and Conditioning program, mentoring students of kinesiology. Currently serving at an R1 institution, her research focuses on the combination of physical and mental preparation to optimize performance and student-athlete success. Dr. Dardaman is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) who currently serves on the Texas State Advisory Board of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and she has worked with a variety of athletes from youth to elite/Olympic levels. Most experienced in football, soccer, volleyball, and baseball, Dr. Dardaman is a dedicated coach and researcher, and she is committed to educating the next generation of coaches and helping athletes maximize their potential and optimizing their physical & mental skills.
