Corinne Ellis is a student at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa completing her undergraduate degrees in Kinesiology focused on Exercise Science and Food and Nutrition. As a student member of the NSCA, Corinne has been involved in research relating to resistance training adaptations and interrelationships in female athletes.
Corinne also serves as an intern at UA for the Alabama Athletics Strength and Conditioning department, assisting with the strength and conditioning practices for multiple of UA's NCAA Division 1 teams.
This project was conducted in collaboration with faculty in the Department of Kinesiology and reflects Corinne's passion for bridging the gap between research and practical application in the field.
After graduation, Corinne plans to pursue a master’s degree in Food and Nutrition to become a Registered Dietician with a special focus in sports nutrition.
