Zackary Cicone (Phd, CSCS) is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology in the College of Health Professions at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia. He received a PhD in Exercise Physiology and a graduate certificate in Quantitative Research Methodology from The University of Alabama. Previously, he earned a Master of Science in Exercise Science and Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition from Florida State University. He also holds CSCS and NSCA-CPT credentials through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Dr. Cicone’s teaching experience includes exercise physiology, strength and conditioning, and nutrition for sport and health. He has published research on topics related to body composition methodology, aerobic fitness measurement and assessment, and equation development and validation. His current focus is on the accuracy and reliability of bioelectrical impedance analysis techniques for determining total body water.
