James Henley is a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Kennesaw State University. After graduating from high school in 2003 he joined the US Army as a Combat Engineer where he found a passion for fitness and health. Later, after transferring to the US Air Force as an Aircraft Rescue Firefighter James took on the role of physical training leader and began implementing HIFT training for the department increasing PT scores and pass rates. In 2019 he left the military to pursue a B.S. in Exercise Science at KSU and became involved with research. He just completed his M.S. of Exercise Science at KSU and the position of Exercise Physiology GTA. James has also been accepted to the University of Kentucky as a PhD student for the 2025/2026 academic year.
