University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Kayleigh Doyle is a master's student in the exercise physiology department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Under the direction of Dr. Eric D. Ryan, she conducts research on neuromuscular function in tactical populations. For her thesis, she will be exploring the impact of occupation on performance fatigability with and without a mental stressor. Kayleigh completed her undergraduate studies in Science-Business at the University of Notre Dame where she worked in the Sports Performance Department, assisting with fatigue analysis of varsity athletes.
At this year's NSCA Conference, Kayleigh will be presenting on "Predictors of Reactive Leg Drop Performance in Young and Older Adults". Her talk expands on previous work to identify a safe and reliable assessment of fall risk.
