Taylor Kinney, MS, CPSS (he/him/his) is a Ph.D. Candidate in the Department of Kinesiology at East Carolina University, where he serves as a Doctoral Research Assistant in the Visual Motor Lab. He supports athlete monitoring efforts at the NCAA Division I level though collaboration with an integrated support team, aligning data-informed insights with training and recovery strategies. Taylor's research explores the visual perception and decision making of athletes, leading to presentations at national and international conferences across both athletic and tactical domains. As a Certified Performance and Sport Scientist, he takes a hands on, collaborative approach to applied research-- developing evidence-based, quaity-assured solutions and helping teams translate complex data into meaningful performance outcomes. With a foundation in biomechanics, motor control, and applied analytics, Taylor is committed to advancing high-performance environments through athlete-centered support.
