Merran Grindley is a student intern in sports science with the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Athletics Department, specializing in neuromuscular status monitoring and performance analysis, and is set to graduate with a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Science in December 2025. With hands-on experience using force plates and other VALD systems, she supports data collection and reporting for Division I football athletes. Merran is passionate about applying evidence-based methods to optimize athlete readiness and reduce injury risk, and her aspiration is to pursue a career in high-performance sport science.
