Dr. Quincy R. Johnson CSCS*D, NSCA-CPT*D is an Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas within the Department of Health, Sport and Exercise Sciences. Additionally, Dr. Johnson serves as Assistant Director of the Jayhawk Athletic Performance Laboratory alongside Dr. Andrew C. Fry, Dr. Dimitrije Cabarkapa, and Dr. Jonathan Miller. Together, their research focuses on optimizing high performance in athletic settings. Most notably, Dr. Johnson has contributed to the development of athletes, coaches, and athletic programs through strength and conditioning implementation and research as well as published manuscripts related to understanding physical characteristics that underpin athletic performance across demographics.
