My name is Brian Benitez. I am an Exercise Physiology PhD Candidate at the Unversity of Kentucky. I received my Masters from Florida Atlantic University, under the mentorship of Dr. Mike Zourdos.
My Masters research focused on the assessment of biomarkers with known neuroprotective benefits that respond to resistance exercise, such as brain-derived neurotrophic factor and cathepsin-B.
My PhD research focuses on the computational profiling of human performance and physiology using non-invasive measures, such as surface electromyography and ultrasonography.
